Kundun and Chocolate Momos

I mentioned LIT when I went to see Murder in the Snow and it is a very worthwhile organisation which promotes learning amongst the Tibetan refugees and one of the ways they raise funds is by holding these regular film nights and charging for the food.  Monday is Momo night and tempted by the promise of Chocolate ones and a Martin Scorcese biopic of the Dalai Lama’s early life it was a bit of a no brainer.

Having said that, I found Kundun to be rather ponderous and filmed in a way that confused rather than enlightened at many points.

Their chocolate momos were fantastic though.
